How does someone become a consumer of District of Columbia Independent Living Center?
Any person with a significant disability that substantially limits their ability to function independently in the community, within the family or in the workplace, and for whom the delivery of independent living services will help overcome the limitation so that he/she can live more independently can become a consumer of the Center's services by either calling the Center at (202)388-0033 or simply coming into the office(s).
Who is eligible for DCCIL services?
Any person with a significant disability residing in the District of Columbia, members of the general public, family members, and some non-DC residents for information referral.
What are the Hours of Operations?
The DC Center for Independent Living is open Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM.
